| Welcome to EuroGROG
EuroGROG is a paneuropean system, which has been created in the early 1990's to provide a bulletin dedicated to the European continent. The EuroGROG Bulletin gives a global view of the situation of influenza at a glance in 30 European countries, spanning from Iceland to the far east of Russia.
The 30 countries covered by EuroGROG are:
Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain, Yugoslavia.
We are happy to welcome Yugoslavia, who recently joined as a new member for this season.
EuroGROG, in close partnership with its partner EISS, is evolving towards a more regular and sophisticated bulletin, based on new technologies. EuroGROG is ansystem welcoming all countries belonging to the European continent. EISS is more limited geographically but stresses importance of fulfilling a number of criteria and surveillance standards. EISS has been steadily growing from a group of founding members who, in the past were members of EuroGROG. Unlike EISS, EuroGROG is not as strict in the data collection and reporting criteria of its members.
